How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Open iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID at the top, then Subscriptions, select Protein Note and tap Cancel Subscription. Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can request account deletion from the settings screen inside the app. After deletion, data stored on our servers is removed within a reasonable period. Guest-mode data is stored only on your device, so deleting the app erases it.

Can I transfer my data to a new device?

Yes, if you are signed in with an account (Sign in with Apple, Google, or a user ID), simply sign in on the new device and your records carry over. Guest-mode data is stored only on the device and cannot be transferred, so we recommend creating an account before switching devices.

Do Meal Photo Log photos survive a device change?

No. Meal Photo Log photos are stored only on your device for privacy, and are lost when you delete the app, switch devices, or reset the device. Your nutrition records themselves carry over if you have an account.

Apple Health (HealthKit) sync is not working

Check iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Protein Note and make sure read access for steps and weight is turned on. If it still does not work, disconnect and reconnect the integration inside the app.

How long does a reply take?

Replies may take a few days depending on the inquiry. For bug reports, including reproduction steps, screenshots, and your device and app versions helps us resolve the issue faster.
